Create a Windows Startup Disk
Time to complete: about 5-15 minutes. You can create a Startup disk either from Windows Me or Windows 98. To create a Windows Startup disk
The Windows Startup disk you created can find and allow access to most, but not all, CD drives. If it can't find or gain access to your drive, follow the instructions that came with your hardware to create a Windows Startup disk that will allow access to the CD?ROM drive. If an error is displayed, your computer might be set to start only from the hard disk and not the floppy disk. To change this option in the computer's CMOS setup, see your computer documentation. |
